First National Day since the pandemic. As usual, went over to Stockwood Park on a sunny Saturday afternoon to mark out our stand space. Come Sunday the weather had changed and the forecast didn't look pleasant.
When Jane and myself at the show ground before 8am the rain had started so quickly erected the gazebo. Jane's 3 litre Ghia wasn't working so straight away we were one Mk2 down on previous National's.
Ford blue and white bunting surrounded our boundary and the Capri's started to grace the hollowed ground of Vauxhall. After a few hours the rain had stopped and you could now see the planes heading to and from the airport as the clouds starter to lift higher.
With the final of the eight Mk2's and three Mk1's that attended parked up on the stand it gave a chance for the guy's and gal's to explore the Luton Festival of Transport show. Not as much auto jumble as previous years but that can be expected but still plenty of vehicles attended by the afternoon which was great to see.
Details will appear in the events section soon.
